Anna grew up in Cambridge before going to Manchester and Oxford Universities to study science degrees and has a Doctorate in Biochemistry.
Before having children, Anna worked in the pharmaceutical industry, setting up and managing international clinical trials.
Once her children had grown up, Anna started working for a National private home care company and later joined the NHS working as a Healthcare Assistant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
Flexible Home Care was set up by Anna in 2024 to provide care and support to clients living in Norfolk. After a very successful first year in the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk area, Anna is now based in Brisley, Dereham and covers surrounding villages in North West Norfolk, between Fakenham and Dereham.
Some may ask why a Doctor of Biochemistry would choose to become a carer?
“It’s the best job I could wish for and I feel lucky because it comes naturally. If you take the time to listen and observe you can go on to make such a difference to someone’s quality of life” Anna
