I had the pleasure of working alongside Anna for 10 months in 2026 whilst we shared the care of R and P.

From day one, Anna was warm, welcoming, and unfailingly punctual. She would often stay longer and give extra time without ever being asked, simply to make sure everything was just right.

What stood out most was her wealth of knowledge and experience. As a fellow carer, I was incredibly grateful for her support — she was always available to help with any concerns I had regarding their care, and she taught me a great deal.

Anna is a truly gentle and patient carer. She doesn’t just provide care, she actually listens. She takes a genuine interest in their wellbeing, their stories, and their lives, and treats them with such dignity and respect.

She is also incredibly professional and diligent, keeping very precise and thorough records.

Most importantly, I had complete trust in her. When Anna covered for me, I knew without a doubt that P and R were in the very best hands. It meant I could relax and truly enjoy my break, knowing they were safe, happy, and receiving the highest standard of care.

I cannot recommend Anna highly enough. Any family would be fortunate to have her.

I was fortunate enough to work alongside Anna for 8 months in 2026 in a particularly challenging care situation. I was impressed by her professionalism, intuitive approach and consistently high standards of care. I know that I learnt a great deal from her example and that our client benefited considerably from her input. I hope to work with Anna again in the future.

Anna has been one of my primary carers since the beginning of 2026. In this time, she has proved herself to be highly efficient, caring and completely meets my requirements of a carer. I have Motor Neurone Disease, which has confined me to a wheelchair and have very limited use of my hands. Therefore, I require carer who has the skills and experience to be responsive to my needs.

Anna’s services as my carer include getting me out of bed in the morning, showering me, ‘personal care’, assisting me with my breakfast and ensuring I transfer safely to beds and chairs.

She is completely reliable and has a great sense of humour which helps lighten my day in the morning. She is unusually medically qualified for a carer, being a qualified biochemist and her medical knowledge has helped myself and my wife with my medical queries to my consultant and medical centre.

Having worked in hospitals, she is well aware of issues of pressure sores and guarding against them, which is particularly important to me now that I am completely confined to a wheelchair and therefore more susceptible to pressure sores.

She has always been willing to step in when unexpected needs arise and I have no hesitation in highly recommending her as a carer. We were most fortunate to find her.

We feel we were extremely lucky in finding Anna, she has been so kind and caring to our 90 year old Mum. Whilst under Anna’s care Mum began to eat well again, her mobility improved and Anna even managed to take her out in her wheelchair which is something Mum was very reluctant to do previously. Anna is very knowledgeable and professional at the same time having a friendly calming manner. Mum looked forward to her daily visits and enjoyed their chats.

We have no hesitation in highly recommending Anna to anyone looking for at home care.

Anna from Flexible Home Care has been a rock for my mum who suffers with dementia. I would tell Mum in the evening that Anna was coming in the morning and she would have a great big smile on her face, I therefore would highly recommend Anna for anybody looking for care at home.

Anna was one of a team of carers that had responsibility for Mum’s care at home.
We very quickly became aware that Anna went ‘above and beyond’ in her sensitive and empathic approach to Mum’s care. All the daily care duties were carried out efficiently and to a high level but it was the thoughtfulness that Anna put into creating special moments for Mum on a regular basis that really made her stand out.
Putting Mum in her wheelchair so she could enjoy her garden, bringing flowers or salad items from her own garden, planting indoor seedlings so that Mum could enjoy watching them grow on her window sill. Probably most importantly Anna took the time on every visit to sit, listen and chat to Mum, she encouraged Mum to tell her life stories and Mum loved hearing about Anna’s life with her dogs and horses. Mum wasn’t great with remembering names so endearingly she called Anna ‘the dog and horse lady’!!
Mum adored Anna and we are so grateful to Anna for the joy she brought to Mum in her final months.
